  Prominent among Keyser's representative business (?) is that of J B Fetzer & co, which, although established October 1st last, has already secured a firm and lasting hold on public favor. The management is exploding the fallacy that it is necessary to make an enormous percentage of profit in order to meet with business success. Despite the predictions of many friends to the contrary, Mr Fetzer has fully demonstrated the wisdom of doing business on a cash basis. Moderate prices insure an increasing patronage and employment is sought in numerous sales rather than large single profits. It is believed, and rightly so, that the real interests of customers are best served by doing business on a cash basis.
  The stock carried embraces a general line of groceries "White Star" Coffee, a blend, which in aroma and flavor is unexcelled, is a specialty, dry goods, notions, fancy goods, etc. Country produce is bought at the highest market prices.
  Mr J B Fetzer devotes his entire time to the management of this growing business and has during his ten years residence in Keyser, become both well and favorable. His business experience*, required as a clerk has * -gained in our city, and he is a * conversant with the needs and * of our people in merchandise*, etc. The stock carried is * and specially selected in reg* quality. since its inception, th* business has tried to merit a rep* for the standard and excelle* goods handled and, in the future * more attention, if possible, w* given to this characteristic * management.
