THE KEYSER BOTTLING WORKS
J R BEAN, MANAGER, ARMSTRONG STREET
An industry in Keyser which should be appreciated during
this humid weather, and which is fully prepared to contribute to the
summer comfort of citizens is the Keyser Bottling Works.
At 60 cents a case of two dozen bottles, delivered anywhere
in the town limits, the products of these works are within the reach
of everyone. A postal will bring the wagon with a case of birch beer,
sarsaparilla, lemon soda, Belfast ginger or, in short, any desired
kind of delicious cooling drink. It is convenient to call.
This is the third season for the works which are fully
equipped to turn out one hundred cases daily. Shipments are made to
all surrounding points.
J R Bean, was born at Petersburg, Grant County, W Va. He
officiated as clerk of the circuit and county courts of that county
subsequently emigrating to Omaha, Nebraska, where he filled the
office of county clerk. Later he located in St Louis, Mo., filling a
position in the Missouri Pacific Railroad offices.
Mr Bean owns and resides in a neat residence. He is a
