Special thanks to Dottie Hughes for this additional Stone Chapel Info.

James Harris ca. born 1811, died 26 June 1873 at the age of 64 in Mineral county, the son of George Thomas Harris sr. and Sarah_______. married 28 January 1836 Nancy Rotruck ca. born 1811, died 30 July 1903 of cancer at the age of 92 years.

The cousin and I both believe that their graves is close to their daughter Louisa Rudelphis (Harris) Likins born 28 march 1848, died 5 November 1895 married Isaac Likins born ca. 1837, died 25 September 1879 at 42 years, Burlington, WV. He was the son of Alexander and Susanna (Bly) Likins. The graves may have been down in the left hand corner.

Also another child of James and Nancy is buried in the old Stone Chapel cemetery:

Frances "Fanny" (Harris) Gardner born ca. 1850 married James John Gardner born 4 July 1836, died 11 January 1913 (I copied this from his monument) PVT co. C 3 Regt WVA cal. Cival War) enlisted at Keyser wVa in company C 3rd WVA calvary 23 February 1863 mustered out at Alexandria VA 1 June 1865.

Checking marriage records in Mineral county there is a John W. Gardner age 33 who married Elvina F. Morris. I wonder if he Morris should have read Harris. And if the F. stands for Frances. She was age 17. They were married at Davis Kanrick's. Wonder if the Kanrick was Kabrick? They were married 5 August 1869. I need to do further research on this.

But the information that the elderly cousin gave me was of Frances Harris marrying John Gardner.

Another daughter of James and Nancy is buried in the old stone chapel cemetery:

Clora Harris Kabrick born ca. 1841 married John Kabrick

Also Lydia J. (Harris) Green born 1858, died 1936 married Thomas Green born 1851, died 1914. This was another daughter of James and Nancy (Rotruck) Harris
