Last Will and testament, MinCo Courthouse

In the name of God Amen

I Nancy Daniels, wife of Thomas Daniels, born in the Town of Frankfort Hampshire County State of Virginia now Mineral Co, WV, being feeble in body but sound in mind and of disposing memory for which I thank God do make and constitute this my last will and Testament this 2th day of Oct 1888. After my death I will and bequeath to Susan R Daniels, my daughter and Zimri V Daniels, my Grand Son all the property willed to me by my husband Thomas Daniels. I desire my Daughter, Susan R Daniels to have one bed bedstead and bedding, one dining room table, one spinning wheel one real and flax wheel, one cubboard, one set of chairs and rocking chair and all the carpet and fire shovel and tong and dog iron and knives and forks and two smoothing irons and all my tin ware and cooking utensils. I give and bequeath to my Grandson, Zimri V Daniels one cow and bureau, one charelle stand, one set of table spoons and one set of tea spoons and one dinner table. I desire all my crocking and dishes at my death to be divided evenly between my daughter Susan V Daniels and Zimri V Daniels and my Grandson own the property. I have willed to my daughter and Grandson at my death they can sell or do with as they see best.

In Witness thereof, I set my hand and seal this 2nd day of Oct, Eighteen hundred eighty eight, signed sealed and declared by said Nancy Daniels as her last will and testament in the presence of

In the Clerk's office of the county court of Mineral County, W VA, In the Recess of said court:

On this 24th day of April 1897, a writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Nancy Daniels, late of Mineral County W Va, bearing date Oct 2md, 1888, was presented in the Clerk's office of said Court for probate and record and was proven by the oath of Simon Fleek & H A Adams two fo the subscribing witnesses thereto to have been signed sealed acknowledged published and declared by the said Nancy Daniels in their presence as and for her last will and testament, and that they at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other, subscribed their names thereto as witnesses taht at the time of so doing they considered her of sound mind, memory and understanding and capable of executing a valid instrument. Said writing is therefore admitted to probate and recorded as the last will and testament of Nancy Daniels, deceased, Given under my hand this 24th day of April, 1897.
