Looking for info on an area of northeastern Monroe County known as "John Carr Mountain" by the old timers. Who lived there, were there Boon's, Leachs, and Halls among them? Who was John Carr's wife, children?

I am looking for the descendants of JOHN ECHOLS JEFFRIES and MARY JANE MOSS who lived on either Keenan's Creek or Second Creek in Monroe CO. Their children were Millard, John, Jim, Albert, Noten, and Ben and one daughter, Rosa. Any info concerning their descendants would be much appreciated.

Many of my ancestors were born in Monroe County. CALES-L@rootsweb.com is a newcomer to the community. This list is for the descendants of David Kail, born in the Palatinate in 1716, arrived in Philadelphia in 1742; [wife Alberdina Barthemia "Partheny"] a resident of the Beverley Patent [modern Staunton] in Virginia, Augusta County. Any possible or probable connection is welcome. David's family is not the only CALE[S] family in this country. We welcome all contributions! Tell your cousins about it. I have only half a dozen e-mail addresses, so am depending on y'all to fill in the blanks! WELCOME TO CALES-L.
