J. BRUCE ALLISON, WHEELING

     For twenty years J. Bruce Allison has been a member of the bar of West Virginia. Mr. Allison, who has handled many difficult and important law suits, is known for his painstaking and his resourceful talents, one of his outstanding qualities being an unfailing courtesy to both friends and opponents. Mr. Allison has had his offices in Wheeling since 1924.
     He was born March 5, 1879, in West Finley Township, Washington County, Pa., son of Oliver and Mary (Teagarden) Allison. He attended public schools and Waynesburg College, Waynesburg, Pa. He graduated in the law department of the University of West Virginia in 1907 and was admitted to the bar in 1908. For a number of years Mr. Allison practiced law in, Marshall County, W. Va., with definite success.
     He is a member of the Ohio County Bar Association, is a Republican in politics, a member of the Pres byterian Church and the Knights of Pythias. He married, May 23, 1917, Belle Milligan, of Wheeling. Their children (twins) are James Oliver anc Elizabeth Jane, born January 10, 1919.
