     Milton M. Moorhead is one of two partners of the Ford agencies of Charleston and Wheeling, W. Va., distributing the products of the Ford Motor Company throughout a section which is one of the largest of Midwestern Ford territories. He is also vice-president of the New York Discount Corporation, financing retail sales of Ford cars throughout southern West Virginia. Mr. Moorhead, who was formerly a banker and business executive of Charleston, is widely known for his ability as an administrator and is held in fine esteem for his personal qualities. He is one of the substantial figures in the life of present-day West Virginia.
     He was born at Findlay, Ohio, in 1895, son of Ostin J. and Olive M. Moorhead, and attended public and high schools at Findlay and Findlay College. From 1914 to 1917 he was teller in the Ohio Bank & Savings Company, Findlay, Ohio. He removed to Charleston, W. Va., in 1917 and became head teller of the Charieston National Bank, which post he filled until 1922. He was at the same time treasurer of the H. & C. Coal and Coke Company, of Charleston.
     In 1922 he purchased the Ford agency at Charleston, W. Va., which he has since operated. Since November, 1926, he has also been the Ford representative in Wheeling. Both these enterprises have been highly successful, administered as they are by a man of long experience and sound knowledge of finance and business.
     Mr. Moorhead is a member of the Wheeling Country Club, Fort Henry Club, Kanawha Country Club.
     He was married, in 1917, to Dorothy S. Simone. Children: Milton M. Moorhead, Jr.; Thomas B. Moorhead.
