Can anyone tell me where Meadow Creek Station, West Virginia was or is? I
have a picture of my great grandmother taken by the Standard Novelty Co.
in Meadow Creek Station. Her name is Lucinda Katherine (?). She was born
on 25 Mar 1848, probably in WV, and she could not have been any older than
5 years when the picture was taken. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

My maternal grandmother "Harriet Zelia Marshall" was born in Chester, W.
Virginia. I think her mother was a Campbell. Harriet was born in 1892. She
married Thomas Jefferson Pugh, son of Martha Anderson Pugh and George Jackson
Pugh. Thomas Jefferson Pugh was born in Washington Co., Pa. He was one of
eleven children who survived to adulthood. I am interested in finding the
lineage of Harriet Zelia Marshall Pugh. I know she had brothers and sisters,
but I don't know how many. I am not sure of her mother's maiden name.

Is anyone else searching these Tyler Co. families? Would like to confirm
the names of the spouses of two daughter of Job Harryman Morgan and his wife
Ary Jolliffe. One daughter was Virginia B. Morgan b. 1836 -- did she marry
an Albert Morgan? Daughter Mariah b. 1837 married ______ Jacobs. What was
his first name. Did these families continue to live in Tyler Co? There was
also a daughter Drusilla A. Morgan b. April 1834.

Seeking information on the family of William Martin who married Margaret
"Maggie" Smith. They both died in the early 1920's. Their daughter, Ruby
Marie Martin, married my grandfather, Thomas Richardson Oldaker. William
Martin is the son of Woodson Martin. These families lived in both Mason and
Putnam Counties from circa 1844 until now. William Martin and wife, Maggie,
are buried at Walker Chapel Church in Putnam County. The Martin family seems
to have all died at early ages...around late 50's and early 60's. My snailmail
