Posting this for Bruce Caruthers (who has no computer). Seeking info on James Caruthers, DOB 1760, place unknown. Died 1840 in Poca, WV. Wife's name M____ (we think Mary) They lived in Hampshire Co., WV, 1781(?) to 1800 when they moved to Putnam /Kanawha Co.,WV. Had five children: James, Alexander, Mary, Nancy, and Niicholas. At the time "my" James was in Hampshire Co., there were also another James C. and a George Caruthers - don't know relationship, if any to each other. Bruce is very anxious for any info. He has a lot of info, even back to Scotland , he is willing to share. Please respond to above e-mail address.
