I am interested in any research on the Brookman surname. Most came out of VA in the 1860's. I have been doing "Brookman" research for several years and have apparently hit a brick wall. The Brookman family moved out of Virginia into Mercer and Monroe Counties and could have moved into various other locations, therefore could be anywhere in WV.

I am researching the family of Henry Wise ARRINGTON, born 1860 in Franklin Co., Va., and Alva Mae THOMAS, born 8-24-1882. They were married 3-8-1900 in Bland Co. Va.. They settled in Durhing WV. His parents were Charles ARRINGTON, dob 1801, and Sarah JENKINS , dob 1831. Charles parents were Thomas ARRINGTON and Millie COLEMAN. Sarah's parents were Henry JENKINS and Sally _____. Alva's parents were Rice Graham THOMAS and Susan V. WOODYARD. Rice's parents were John and Kate THOMAS. Susan's parents were A. R. and Jane WOODYARD. Any help in tracing these lines back further and finding exact dates would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
