Lynda Redden Bledsoe

INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. - Lynda Mae Redden Bledsoe, 49, formerly of Beckley, died Monday, June 11, 2001, in Virginia Beach, Va., following a sudden illness. Born Sept. 2, 1951, in Pineville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Aubrey Lafferty and Pearl Mae Ward Lafferty. Mrs. Bledsoe was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She had been a resident of North Carolina the past seven years. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Candy Lynn Redden; her husband, Jack Bledsoe; her grandmother, Tracy Smith; and her grandfather, Ralph Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Mechelle Lynn Redden of Indian Trail and Travis Latisha Redden of Pineville, N.C.; a grandson, Sean Anthony Redden; two brothers, Dennis and Butch Lafferty, both of Wilmington, N.C.; two sisters, Pam Lynn Lowry and Rayla Lowry, both of Wilmington; and a special friend, Ricky Stroupe of Indian Trail. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Rose and Quesenberry Shady Spring Chapel with Pastor Rodney Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Kidwell Cemetery, Table Rock. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Evans, Jerry Redden, Jackie Redden, Archie Reed, Johnny Redden, Rob Hagar and John Kincaid. Arrangements by Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Shady Spring.
