Wanda Faye Craft

FAYETTEVILLE - Wanda Faye Craft, 72, died at her home Sunday, April 22, 2001, following a long illness. Born Dec. 15, 1928, in Music, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Davis and Laura Bell Crum Davis. Mrs. Craft was a member of the First Church of God, Fayetteville, and was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Sheldon Craft, on April 19, 1972; a brother, Leonard Davis; a sister, Nellie Scaramuzzi; and a grandson, Wallace Sheldon Craft III. Survivors include a son, Wallace Sheldon Craft Jr. and wife, Diana, of Gatewood; a daughter, Elaine Patterson and husband, Charlie, of Fayetteville; three brothers, Joseph Davis of Radcliff, Ky., David Davis of Mason, Tenn., and Thomas Davis of Lyons, Ill.; eight sisters, Belva Kelly of Tuscumba, Ala., Virginia Craft of Gatewood, Pauline Harris of Jackson, Tenn., Donna Samples of Lyons, Ill., Edna Freeman of Martin, Tenn., Bobbie Jean Treadway of Beckwith, Linda Sadler of Martin, Tenn., and Sally Wriston of Hilltop; and two grandchildren, Angela Dawn Wickline and Stephen Michael Patterson. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Leon Nunley officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
