Murder Cases being Tried Now
The trial of Henry and Ira Wriston
The trial of Henry and Ira Wriston charged with the murder of Emil Williams, and with shooting of Linas Williams occupied the attention of the criminal court beginning Monday afternoon late, and all indications point that it will continue for the remainder of the week.
More than one hundred witnesses have been summoned to appear on Wednesday morning, the taking of testimony was scarcely begun.
Attorneys David Ashworth, Abe Lilly and C. W. Ostenton represent the state and the defense is represented by Attorneys Columbus Ward, A. D. Farley and Hugh Dunn.
The alleged shooting occurred on January 2nd, near Artie, in Clear Fork district according to reports, it was the outgrowth of an old difference which has existed for some time. The men were indicted by the April Grand Jury.
