Deputy Shoots Brother

Alfred Williams in Hospital as Result of Fiasco at Wright.
Alfred Williams, of Wright, is in the hospital at McKendree with three bullet wounds the result of being shot by his brother, Deputy A. J. Williams Sunday evening at the Williams home.
The shooting is said to have resulted from a personal difference and as no witnesses were present at the time, little could be learned as to the cause. Immediately after the shooting, the wounded man was taken to the hospital where it is said he has good chance for recovery.
No arrests have been made as yet, although it was stated at the sheriff's office Tuesday that two other brothers of the injured man were in the city to investigate the shooting and if necessary secure warrants for the arrest of A. J. Williams.
