P.H.M. Patterson was a well known Beckley attorney and has a number of descendants in Beckley, at the time of his death, April 13, 1921 he also served as the U.S. Commissioner of the Southern District of West Virginia. He was well known and respected.

Scenes of Terry, Wright, Royal, Stonewall provided by Kenneth Kincaid of Stanaford Acres, Frank Adkins of Peters Drive and Raymond Redden of Piney View.
