SUN CITY, Ariz. - Agnes Worley Adler, 72, formerly of Beaver and Suitland and Waldorf, Md., died Sunday, June 17, 2001, in Sun City following a long illness. Born April 7, 1929, at Bea-ver, she was the daughter of the late Basil G. and Beulah Goodson Worley. Mrs. Adler spent her childhood in Beaver and was a graduate of Shady Spring High School. She was a resident of Suitland and Waldorf, Md., for many years, where she worked as an analyst for the Department of the Navy. She moved to Arizona in 1993, where she was a member of the Canasta Club of Sun City West. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by a brother, Basil H. Worley. Survivors include her husband, Sylvan Adler; three sisters, Marjorie Binley and Betty Payne, both of Waldorf, and Hilda Sanger of Crab Orchard; a brother, Gene Worley and his wife, Rosalie, of Daniels; a sister-in-law, Peggy Worley of Beckley; a goddaughter, Steph-anie Palmer; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Paul Blizard officiating.
