TITUSVILLE, Fla. Bud Farley, 85, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, at a Florida health care center following a long illness. Born Dec. 11, 1915, at Camp Creek, he was the son of the late William and Eliza Caroline Farley. Mr. Farley was a retired coal miner and attended Park Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Carla Epling Farley; two sons, Ray Gene and Larry Farley, both of Baltimore; a daughter, Mary Ann Yancey of Baltimore; a stepson, Carl K. Burdiss of Boone, N.C.; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Peace, Beckley, with the Rev. Phillip Lilly officiating. Entombment will follow. Friends may call noon to 12:50 p.m. Thursday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Beckley. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
