Chandler I. Canterbury


FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- Chandler "Colorado" Isaac Canterbury, 23, formerly of Ames Heights, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, following a short illness. Born Feb. 11, 1976, at Beckley, he was the son of Edward Eugene Canterbury Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Gina Rose Fritz Stilwell of Colorado Springs, Colo. Mr. Canterbury was a four year resident of Florida, and a construction worker for Andron Construction Company. Other survivors include his wife, Heather D. Canterbury of Fort Walton Beach; two sons, James Dalton Canterbury and Nathaniel Cole Canterbury, both of Fort Walton Beach; his stepfather, James Stilwell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Jessica Canterbury of Camp Casey, Korea, and Nicole A. Canterbury of Milden Hall, England; his maternal grandmother, Joan Osborne of Lansing; and his paternal grandparents, Bethel and Jerry Hamrick of Dixie. Services will be 10 a.m. Sunday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home Chapel, Ansted, with the Rev. Franklin Castello officiating. Burial will follow in the McKinney Cemetery, Victor.
