1st
On motion of Br John Shumate, Dr Michael Ellison was chosed Moderator and Br Charles Hutchinson chosen clerk.
2nd
On motion of Br Charles Hutchison Br John Shumate was chosen Treasurer.
3rd
Resolved to meet Saturday before first Lord's day in every month in the year.
4th
On motion of Br John Shumate that Brethern Daniel Shumate, Matthew Ellison and Joseph Ellison be a Committee to draft Rules of Decorum.
5th
The Church authorized the Treasurer to purchase a book for her use.

Dec 31, 1836
The Meeting at the meeting house, prayer by the Moderator, then proceeded to business.
1st
On motion of Br Charles Hutchison that Brethern Daniel Shumate and Joseph Ellison was appointed Deacons.
2nd
On motion of Br Daniel Shumate, that every male member pay 12 1/2 cents and every female member pay 6 1/2 cents to the Treasurer of this Church for the purpose of defraying Church expenses.
3rd
On motion of Br Amos Shumate the Church instructed the Treasurer to pay the postmaster the postage of the Minutes of the Association.

Feburary 4th, 1837
The Church met at the meeting house; the services of the day opened in order by the Moderator.

2nd
Received 5 members by letter
Sisters Elizabeth Jarrell, Fanny Harper, Salley Harper(now Shumate), Olevia Stover, Sally Baley
3rd
On motion of Br John Shumate, the Committee that was appointed to draft rules of decorum be called on to report they reported not ready; the Committee continued and report at this next meeting in Course.
4th
On mo by Br John Shumate we adjourned;

March 4th, 1837
Meeting at the meeting house, the services of the day being opened in order proceed to business.
1st
No grievance
2nd
Brother Addison Ellison and his daughter Lucindia being present with us were invited to seats.
3rd
Three members received by letter viz Rachel O'Neal, Susan Williams; Mehalia Stover.
4th
On motion of Br John Shumate the Committee that was continued, be called on to report the Committee reported that they had drafted Rules of Decorum; their report was received and the Committee discharged.
5th
On mo by Br D. Shumate we adjourn until meeting in corse.
