Work on Kings Daughters Hospital
To be Started Soon.
At a call meeting, Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock of the directors of the King's Daughter's hospital, a revised set of plans was submitted and accepted. Work will be started at an early date and rushed to completion. The solicitation committee, with Mrs. T. E. Combs as chairman, will begin shortly to issue stock certificates to those who are interested in financing the hospital.
The directors are pledged to admit all practicing physicians in Raleigh county on the same basis, both in admitting their patients and as operating physicians and surgeons. The King's Daughters insist that this be definitely understood by all interested professionally and financially, in order that the co-operation and support of the citizens of Raleigh county might be secured.
The tract of land donated to the King's Daughters has been cleared, and calls for bids will be issued at an early date.
