Eugene Cochran

ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Eugene Cochran, 71, formerly of Bolt, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, in Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, following a short illness. Born May 25, 1928, in Grayson, Ky., he was the son of the late Gaydon and Reva K. Moore Cochran. Mr. Cochran was a retired machinist for the Chrysler Corporation in St. Louis. He was a member of the DAV Chapter I, in St. Louis, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Coinflict. He was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Lemay, Mo. He had spent his childood in Logan County, and Bolt, and had made his home in the St. Louis area since 1971. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Henry F. Amick; and a sister, Maxine Racusin. Survivors include two daughters, Sabrina Cochran of Sebula, Iowa, and Nannette Cook of St. Charles, Mo.; two sons, Mike Cochran of Lathrop, Mo., and Danny Cochran of St. Charles, Mo.; three sisters, Jacqueline Sauls of Crab Orchard, Ruth A. Benoit of St. Charles, Mo., and Edith L. Harris of Adrian, Mich.; and seven grandchildren. Services were conducted Saturday, Aug. 14, at Winds of Pentecostal Church in St. Charles, Mo.
