SUTTON - Robert Allen "Robbie" Conley II, 24, of Little Birch, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at Bolt, near Beckley. Born Dec. 17, 1976, in Charleston, he was a fine son of Bill and Jeannie Woods McClain of Little Birch, and Robert Conley I and Paulina Browning of Uler. He was a wonderful brother and uncle to April Conley and her son, Donavan, of Little Birch. His fiancee is Jennifer Robert Sutphia, and her son, Zack, was to be his stepson, both of Bolt. Also surviving are two stepsisters, Ginger Browning of Uler and Lynda Tylanowski and her son of Ida May; a half sister, Carol Ashe of Pennsylvania; his grandparents, Christine Woods of Spencer Brooks, Elwanda Conley of Newton and Clyde and Margaret McClain of Burnsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Rob was a miner operator and bolter for Independence Coal, Massey Mines, Shumate Division, near Whitesville. He was a 1995 graduate of Gilmer County High School. Rob will be deeply missed by many and will always have our love. Cremation of Rob took place July 11 in Morgantown. Memorial service was 6 p.m. July 13 on Erbacon Road, Little Birch. Candles were lit for him, which was his wish. The Rev. Joe Fields officiated. There was a family cemetery service at 1 p.m. July 14 in Zion Hill Baptist Church, Uler. Arrangements by Richard M.
