LONG BRANCH - Snoden Mike Craddock, 81, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at Beverly Health Care Center in Glasgow following a short illness. Born March 12, 1920, at Cirtsville, he was the son of the late Joseph and Delia Stover Craddock. Mr. Craddock was a retired coal miner and self-employed coal operator of J&A Coal Company and Mike Craddock Coal Company. He was last employed by Tamroy Mining Company. He was a member of the UMWA Local 7086 and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Craddock was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Emmitt, Pete, Russell and Bob Craddock; two sisters, Pearl Humphrey and Carrie Swee-ney; and a granddaughter, Tammy Bailey. Survivors include his wife of 521/2 years, Martha Jane Bailey Craddock of Long Branch; a daughter, Debbie Meredith and husband, Joe, of Long Branch; a son, Richard Bailey of Elyria, Ohio; six grandchildren, Brian Meredith of Long Branch, Jody Meredith of Caribbean Islands, Mike Meredith and wife, Ka-ren, of Martinsville, Va., John Bailey, Rick Bailey and Kim Reizer, all of Elyria, Ohio; and six great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Wed-nesday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Hope, with the Rev. Kenny Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in the Pax Community Cemetery.
