ELKVIEW - Michael Richard Green, 51, formerly of Beckley, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2001, in Charleston Area Medical Center, General Division, from injuries received in an auto accident that occurred on Sunday, July 8, 2001, on Quick Road. Mr. Green was a supervisor for Welding Inc. with 15 years' service and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Shady Spring High School and West Virginia Career College, and a member of Labors Local No. 1353. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ray Green. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Dunlap Green; two daughters, Beth Ann Plumley and her husband, James Lester, of Danville and Lisa Green and her fiance, James McCloud, of Montgomery; two stepsons, Christopher Harper of Pinch and Rick Harper of Huntington; his mother, Wilma Green of Beckley; two brothers, Gary Davidson and his wife, Marie, and Roger Green and his wife, Connie, all of Beckley; and a granddaughter, Nicole Ann Plumley. Service will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Hafer Funeral Home Chapel, Elkview, with the Rev. James A. Gunnoe officiating. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, with Pastor Roger Richmond officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
