Evelyn M. Hall, 72, of Daniels, died 12:57 p.m., Sunday, June 13, 1999, in a Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born Feb. 17, 1927, in Crow, she was the daughter of the late Charley Bennett and Cassie Adkins Bennett. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Daniels. She was secretary of the Shady Spring Busy Bees Senior Citizens Club. She was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Hall; and three brothers, Archie, Charles "Polly" and James Robert Bennett. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ernest N. Hall; a son, Ernest Ray Hall and his wife, Belinda, of Daniels; a daughter, Connie Link and her husband, Steve, of Crow; a daughter-in-law, Eva Hall of Biloxi, Miss.; two brothers, Earl Bennett and his wife, Annabelle, of Talcott and Melvin Bennett; a sister-in-law, Edith Bennett of Cleveland, Ohio; a granddaughter, Deana Mapes and her husband, Doug, of Gulfport, Miss.; five grandsons, Jonathan Hall and his wife, Tonalee, of Gulfport, Miss., Brandon and Andrew Link of Crow, Jeremy, Janson and Josh Hall, of Daniels; a step-granddaughter, Jennifer Pierce of Biloxi, Miss.; a great-granddaughter; three great-grandsons; one step-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, with Brother Danny Winders officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
