KING, N.C. - Mildred Virginia Farmer Harman, 75, of High Valley Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, in King. Born May 17, 1936, in Wyoming County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Farmer and Ora Tilley Farmer. Mrs. Harman was a member of Quaker Gap Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Harman, in December 2000. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Harman and her husband, Michael Burnette, of King and Lois Pratt of Florida; two sons, James Harman of King and Michael Harman of Florida; five grandchildren, Tina and Tanya Harman, Kevin Motsinger, Krystal Weida and Michael James Harman; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby and Elsie Shumate of West Virginia and Maxine Bowman of Georgia; and a brother, Earnest Farmer of Indiana. Graveside rites and burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Tom Lilly Cemetery, Ghent. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the King Outreach Ministry, P.O.
