Lillie Mae McGraw Huffman, 88, of 4-H Lake Road, Daniels, died noon Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, at her home following a long illness. Born May 26, 1910, at True in Summers County, she was the daughter of the late John Wiley McGraw and Minnie Mae Poff McGraw. Mrs. Huffman was a homemaker, a 49-year resident of the Daniels area and a member of the Beaver United Methodist Church. Throughout her life she was known to spend her time and energy as a caretaker of others. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Paul Monroe Huffman, on Aug. 26, 1992; four sisters, Lottie Meadows, Annie Craig, Grace Cook and Pearl McGraw; four brothers, Alexander, John, Ernest and Charles McGraw; and seven half brothers and half sisters. Survivors include a son, Samuel "Eddie Paul" Huffman and his wife, Shirley, of Shallote, N.C.; a daughter, Sandra Huffman of Daniels, with whom she shared a home; a grandson, Douglas Paul Huffman and his wife, Vicki, of Shallotte, N.C.; and a granddaughter, Cheryl Ann Huffman Bar-Sadeh and her husband, Dror, of Shallotte, N.C. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel with the Rev. Allen Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley.
