CYCLONE - Hazel I. Cook, 88, died Saturday, March 10, 2001, at Logan General Hospital after a long illness. Born March 28, 1913, in Wyoming County, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Ona Faye Elswick Bailey. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Luther Ray Lusk and Julius Cook; two sons, Brady Lusk and Roby Lusk; a daughter, Virginia Hatfield; five grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Survivors include five sons, Harold Lusk and his wife, Ger-trude, Dennis Lusk and his wife, Bonnie, Freddie Lusk and his wife, Donna, Mike Lusk and his wife, Susan, all of Cyclone, and Maryln Lusk and his wife, Brenda, of Bim; six daughters, Eulaine Daniels and her late husband, Coy, Betty Bailey and her husband, Johnny, Jackie Bailey and her husband, Stevy, all of Cyclone, Clara Deskins and her husband, Woody, of Accoville, Annie Gibson and her late husband, Alford, of Wharton, Juanita Fox and her late husband, Bill, of Oceana; 49 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Bright Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, Cyclone, with the Rev. Jackie Lusk officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery, Cyclone. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Querry-Toler Funeral Home, Oceana.
