OAK HILL - Jimmy Dale Lively, 44, died at 4:49 p.m. Monday Sept. 3, 2001, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following a short illness. Born June 6, 1957, in Charleston, he was the son of the late Joe Eddie Lively and Rhelda Stover Lively. Mr. Lively was a former employee of Eastern Associated Kopperston No. 1 mines. He was a former member of the UMWA and a volunteer for the Fayette County emergency food center. He spent his childhood in Artie and had lived most of his life in Oak Hill. Survivors include four children, Jeremy Lively and his wife, Erica, of Clear Creek, twins Merideth Lively and her fiancÚ, Todd Burns of Beaver, and Matthew Lively of Clear Creek, and Aaron Lively of Clear Creek; three brothers, Charles Lively and Kenneth Lively, both of Oak Hill, and Timothy Lively and his wife, Jenny, of Sutton; two sisters, Myra Moles of Beckley and Cathy Martin and her husband, Richard, of Oak Hill; and a special aunt who helped rear him, Kitty Scarbro of Clear Creek. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Workman's Creek Methodist Church with the Rev. Arolette Stover officiating. Burial will follow in Workman's Creek Cemetery, Clear Creek. Friends may call 6 to 10 p.m. today at the church. Cousins will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Beckley.
