SOUTH CHARLESTON - William A. Kinder, 74, died Sunday, July 15, 2001, at his home after a long illness. Born June 30, 1927, at South Charleston, he was the son of the late Andrew J. Kinder and Lucy Agnes Hill Kinder. Mr. Kinder was an employee of Union Carbide, South Charleston, and was also a Church of Christ minister. Bill was a member of Mallory Chapel Church of Christ in Spring Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Elizabeth Shrewsbury Kinder. Survivors include his children, Ann K. and husband, Mike White, of Beckley, Wil-liam S. and wife, Jean Kinder, of South Charleston, Timothy A. and wife, Sherill Kinder, of Princeton; brothers, Tom and wife, Mary Kinder, of Durbin, and sisters, Libby Burdette of Teays Valley, and Freda Beckett of South Charleston; grandchildren, Andy and wife, Jennifer Kinder, of South Charles-ton, Melanie Kinder at home, Emilee, Jena and Mikka White of Beckley, Drew and Clint Kinder of Princeton; and a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Kinder of South Charleston. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Snodgrass Funeral Home, 4122 MacCorkle Ave., S.W., South Charleston, with Minister Raymond Steiner officiating.
