XENIA, Ohio -- Earl Kinder, 67, formerly of Eccles, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, at his home following a short illness. Born Dec. 7, 1930, at Eccles, he was the son of the late William Bradley and Grace Sutton Kinder. Mr. Kinder had been a resident of Xenia since 1964. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force with more than 20 years of service and from Super Valu Inc. as a semi-truck driver with 24 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Tolley Kinder, May 11, 1996; and three brothers, Glenn, Curt and Sylvester Kinder. Survivors include two sons, Jerry W. Kinder and his wife, Debra, of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Steve E. Kinder of Beaver Creek, Ohio; four daughters, Linda K. Cook, Sharon L. Chaney, and Karen M. Kinder, all of Xenia, Ohio, and Teresa F. Smith of Miamisburg, Ohio; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, William B. Kinder, Jr. of Ft. Pierce, Fla. and Shelby Kinder of Norfolk, Va.; four sisters, Geneva Crotty of Ypsilanti, Mich., Shirley Roubal and Dodie Miexel, both of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Brenda Engel of Port St. Lucie, Fla. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Melton Mortuary Chapel, Beckley. Burial will follow in the Tolleytown Cemetery, Lester.
