Nancy Irene Lilly, 86, of Clyde Street, Beckley, died Sunday, July 29, 2001, at a Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born Dec. 18, 1914, at Mabscott, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Charlotte Stevenson Ingram. Mrs. Lilly spent her childhood in Mabscott and has been a resident of Clyde Street since 1945. She retired from the G.C. Murphy Company with more than 20 years of service. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred G. Lilly Sr., in 1959. Survivors include three sons, Fred Lilly and wife, Uthalee, of MacArthur, John W. Lilly and wife, Mary, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Dayton M. Lilly of Baltimore, Md., and Beckley; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilma Fitzpatrick of MacAr-thur. Service will be 1 p.m. Wed-nesday at Melton Mortuary Chapel, Beckley, with the Rev. John Lares officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may call 11 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family members and friends. Arrangements by Melton Mortuary, Beckley.
