DOTHAN - Lucinda Elizabeth Angle Milam, 81, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999, in an Oak Hill medical center following a long illness. Born Dec. 17, 1917, in Eagle Rock, Va., she was the daughter of the late George and Minnie Pouge Angle. Mrs. Milam was a homemaker and mother. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Milam; two sons, Alfred Milam and Clade Dwier; and a daughter, Janet Simmers. Survivors include five sons, Jimmy Milam of St. Joseph, Mich., Junior Sparks of Summersville, Dennis Sparks of Harrisonburg, Va., John Milam of Carlisle, and Robert Linkenhocker of Roanoke, Va.; 10 daughters, Emma Kelly of Scarbro, Linda Borror of Fork Union, Va., Butterfly Arthur of Dothan, Pat Workman of Scarbro, Priscilla "Priss" Johnson of Dothan, Eulla Ramsey of Una, S.C., Betty Rollins of Jacksonville, Fla., Christine Cassin of Jacksonville, Fla., Margaret Dubberly of Yulee, Fla., and Elizabeth Humphrey of Brooklyn; 50 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Larry Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in Peters Cemetery, Dothan. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill.
