CONWAY, Ark. -- Maxine Elouise Richmond, 59, formerly of Bellburn, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, at her home following a long illness. Born Aug. 17, 1939, at Clifftop, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Eda Helmick Adkins. Mrs. Richmond was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. Survivors include her husband, William Richmond of Conway; two sons, Gary Richmond and his wife, Ruth, of Greenbrier, Ark., and Anthony Richmond of Conway; two daughters, Regina Richmond and Tina Richmond, both of Conway; a brother, Norman Adkins of Scarbro; two sisters, Emogene Hudson and Violet Tingler, both of Fayetteville; four granddaughters, Crystal, Kimberly, Angela, and Debra. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Smathers Funeral Home Chapel, Rainelle, with the Revs. Ron Thompson and James Cox Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Smathers Funeral Home Chapel.
