  1. Back Row, Locy "Bingo" (No 18) Kidwell, After service returned home and was killed on job for Power Company(electrocuted).
  2. Ted Darby holding basketball, deceased, worked for railroad in Washington, D.C. Retired back in Raleigh Co.
  3. No 14 Palmer Wilson living in McLean, VA. Served in Normandy with the 5th infantry Div, wounded in Vioudeville, France. Picked up on battlefield by German Troops. Left arm amputated(of necesity) and liberated when Paris fell last of August 1944.
  4. No 19, Wendell Thurman, long time resident of Beckley. Was long time volunteer at Veteran's Hosp in Beckley. Now Deceased.
  5. No 13 Eddie Duncan, now a resident of Daniels, WV
  6. Bobby Patton, holding trophy, naval service in WWII, died in Pacific during war.
  7. No 16 Griff Lilly, grew up in Blue Jay. Killed at Iwo Jima during the War.
  8. No 10, J.D. Pond of Beaver, In navy during war.
    Beaver in those days was also known as Glen Hedrick.
