MOUNT HOPE - Cuba Lee Wriston Stover, 70, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in an Oak Hill medical center following a long illness. Born Jan. 25, 1929, at Burnsville, she was the daughter of the late Nevlin and Mary Wriston. Ms. Stover was a homemaker and a member of Packs Branch Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Stover; two sons, Paul Anthony Stover and Mitchell Dean Stover; a granddaughter, Sandra Kessler; and a son-in-law, Robert Hyden. Survivors include four sons, Stanley Stover of Gary, Ind., Raymond Stover of Beckley, Rocky Stover of Oak Hill and Gary Stover of Woodbridge, N.J.; two daughters, Donna Crews and Dora Brooks, both of Mount Hope; two brothers, Harrison Wriston of Pax and Ordie Wriston of Warren, Mich.; a sister, Easter Ferguson of Dumfries, Va.; 16 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Beckley, with the Rev. Sam Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley.
