Tina Snodgrass, 86, of Beckley, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, in a local hospital following a long illness. Born in Riverton, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Maggie Hedrick Lambert. Mrs. Snodgrass lived her life as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Beckley, where she taught kindergarten Sunday school class for 42 years. She was a member of the Lydia Light Circle, Fellowship Sunday School Class and a BYF leader. She played the piano for the Baracca Sunday School Class. She was a deaconess, hostess and organist for prison ministry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Snodgrass; three brothers, Ival, Estyl and Erman Lambert; and a soninlaw, Tony Ryva. Survivors include three daughters, Eleanor Ryva of Philadelphia, Eileen Sumner and her husband, Mike, of Daniels and Mary Beth Okes and her husband, Jim, of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; a brother, Lynn Lambert and his wife, Dessie, of Ohio; a sister, Evelyn VanDeevander of Riverton; six grandchildren, Brian Sumner and his wife, Lorren, Michelle Carter and her husband, Danny, Tonya and Pam Ryva, and Scott and Wesley Okes; and two greatgrandchildren, Josh and Ally Carter. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Beckley, with Dr. David Carrico and Pastor Mark Schrade officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley, and one hour before service Monday at the church.
