LYNCO - Arthur "Bus" Toler, 83, died Tuesday, July 27, 1999, in a Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born June 13, 1916, in Wy-oming County, he was the son of the late Pete Toler and Mary Goodman Toler. Mr. Toler was a lifelong resident of Wyoming County and was a timberman, having worked most of his life in the logging industry. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Full Gospel Church in Jesus Name at Lillyhaven. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Blankenship Toler; a daughter, Elvira Toler; a grandson, William Paul Whitson Jr.; three sisters, Erie, Vida and Sara; and six brothers, Johnny, Onnie, Squire, Aaron, Bedford and Luther Toler. Survivors include three sons, Teddy Toler Jr., Jackie Toler and his wife, Audra, and Eddie Toler and his wife, Daisy, all of Lynco; five daughters, Kathy Belcher and her husband, Dallas, Judy Whitson and her husband, Paul, Phyllis Toler and her husband, Fred, Wilma Cline and her husband, Franklin, all of Lynco, and Daisy Farrington and her husband, Paul, with whom he resided; a brother, Hughie Toler of Sun Hill; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Evans Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Firg Proffitt and the Rev. Ricky Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny.
