Beatrice Jarrell Trump, 105, of 211 Crawford St., Beckley, died of natural causes Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, in a local care facility. Born March 2, 1894, in Winifred, Kanawha County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Millard and Mary Margaret Gillispie Jarrell. Mrs. Trump was a teacher and principal for 43 years, having worked for the Raleigh and Fayette county boards of education, last teaching at Beckley Junior High School. She was a member of United Methodist Temple and had been a resident of Beckley for more than 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade H. Trump; a sister, Madelon Thompson; and six brothers, Rupert, Milton, Ralph, James, Jack and Millard Jarrell. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Betty S. Jarrell of Beckley; a nephew, Charles M. Jarrell of Phoenix, Ariz.; five nieces, Peggy Marshall of Appamottox, Va., Gene Turnball of Beaufort, S.C., Ellen G. Moser of Naperville, Ill., Joy Meadows of Elyria, Ohio, and Marjorie Criss of Oak Hill. Graveside services and burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, with the Revs. Dan Johnson and Ellen L. File officiating. Friends may call 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley. A memorial service will be held at a later date at United Methodist Temple, Beckley.
