Thomas Earl "Tommy" Webb, 59, of the Horse Creek area of Naoma, died Friday, July 6, 2001, in Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. Born Sept. 17, 1941, at Horse Creek, Naoma, he was the son of Martha Wiley Webb of Oak Hill and the late Rev. Aubrey Lee Webb. Mr. Webb was a member of Horse Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Other survivors include an aunt, Selma Wiley of Naoma; special friends, Betty Wiley, Pat George, Angie Smith and Carmen Turner; and a host of cousins and friends. Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Horse Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Naoma, with the Rev. Juddy Hurst officiating. Singers will be The Turner Family. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, and one hour before service Monday at the church.
