Hubert Ervin Webb, 39, of Lower Sandlick, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, in a Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born Jan. 9, 1960, at Lower Sandlick, he was the son of Hubert Webb of Lower Sandlick Road and the late Anna Pearl Gill. Mr. Webb spent his childhood at Lower Sandlick and had been a resident of Fairdale since 1996. He was a coal miner, last working at Maben Energy. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting at Wing Grove, Millbranch and Braxton County. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Webb. Other survivors include his wife of three years, Jenifer Richardson Webb; a son, Ervin Michael Webb of Glen Daniel; two daughters, Samantha Estline Webb and Anna Michell Webb, both of Glen Daniel; a sister, Carol Webb of Lower Sandlick; four brothers, Emory Webb of Dameron, Charles Webb of Lower Sandlick, Bobby Webb of Glen Daniel and Alvin Webb of Lower Sandlick; his fathers-in-law and mothers-in-law, Jeffrey Daniels and his wife, Lynnette, of Lower Sandlick, Tad Richardson and his wife, Mavis of Glen Daniel; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Grace Baptist Church, Lower Sandlick Road, with the Revs. John Richardson and Frank Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Richardson-Webb Cemetery, Glen Daniel. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the church. Pallbearers will be Joe Lucas, Wesley Toney, Toney Kessler, Shawn Snuffer, Bobby Webb, Freddy Webb, Timmy Beckner and Dale Daniels. Arrangements by Melton Mortuary, Beckley.
