Kathryn "Kitty" Sue Williams, 63, of Semor Court, Cherry Hill, Beaver, died Sunday, July 1, 2001, in a Beckley hospital following a short illness. Born Oct. 7, 1937, at Kilsyth, she ewas the daughter of the late Lake and Myrtle Marie Bolen Ballard. Mrs. Williams spent her childhood at Mt. Hope where she graduated from Mount Hope High School in 1955. She was Miss Southern West Virginia in 1952. She had been a resident of Semor Court the past 11 years coming from Beckley. She was a consultant for Mary K Cosmetics and was a bookkeeper for her husband at Daryl R. Williams Builders, Developers Inc. the past 28 years. She was of the Christian faith. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Daryl R. Williams; two daughters, Susan W. Weaver and her daughter, Kathryn "Kati" Marie Weaver, both of Beaver and Kelli Sexton and her husband, Dale of Douglasville, Ga.; a sister, Dorothy Keatley of Mill Creek; a special sister-in-law, Georgia Christian of Beckley; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a special friend, Mary Blevins of Crab Orchard, along with many other friends. Service will be 4 p.m. today at Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Revs. Paul Zutaut and Paul Blizard officiating. Entombment will follow in the Williams Family Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call after 2 p.m. until time of the service today at the funeral home.
