Mary Frances Shelton Boyce died August 21, 1931 in Taylor County, WV.

2. Martha A Shelton was born in January 1854 in Taylor County, WV.
She married Newton Poe on December 1, 1867 in Taylor County, WV.
Newton, born 1846, was the son of Stephen W. Poe and Mary Rogers Poe.
Known children: Andrew, Mary, Maude, Martin, Anna, and Charles.

3. George W. Shelton was born in 1856 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Md.
He was married to Jane Unknown.
George W. Shelton died August 2, 1880 in Taylor Co, WV.
He was buried in Bluemont Cemetery.

4. John R. Shelton was born in 1859 in Taylor County WV.
He married Ailsey Poe Jan 15, 1881 in Taylor County, WV.
Ailsey, born 1861 was the daughter of Margaret Poe.
Known children: Arthur, Margaret, Mary, Grover, Luther, and Elsie.
He married Mollie Reese September 22, 1901 in Taylor Co., WV.
John R. Shelton died May 15, 1949 in Taylor County, WV.
He was buried at Bluemont Cemetery.

5. James Rodney Shelton was born February 28, 1862 in Taylor Co., WV.
He married Permilia Camellia Octavia Peters August 21, 1881 in Taylor Co., WV.
Tavie, as she was known, was born February 7, 1864, the daughter of Tempy Peters.
Known children: Charlie O., Lora Macie, James Lloyd, Fred Cecil, Lee P, Lillian (Ellen) Irene, Lester W., and Joseph.
James Rodney Shelton died June 2, 1929 in Marion Co., WV.
He was buried in Bluemont Cemetery.
