CARROLL.
His father was Hugh EVANS, b. 11 Sep 1770 and married to a Sarah
THOMAS. His father was an Edward EVANS b. 1770 in Maryland
I believe. I think Edward was married twice,one wife being a Sarah WOOD.
Hugh, Jr.lived near Pruntytown. I'll appreciate any help you can give me.

We have a Mary HART b.ca 1830 Pa. who m William HAWKINS in
Wetzel Co WV sometime before 1848. The 1840 Tyler Co. census lists a James,
a John, and a William HART. In 1850 James and William are still
in Tyler Co. while there is a John C. HART listed in Wetzel Co..
Also there is a Elmore HART listed in Harrison Co., WV in the 1840
census. There were alot of HART's in the Tyler Co. area also including
Doddridge Co., Marion Co., and Monongalia Co and Taylor Counties. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

md. David LITTLE. Also siblings David, Augustus, Sylvester, Casandra

Seeking info on my ggrandfather Edward BENNETT that shows up on
1900 soundex in Taylor Co. with wife Gerethy Melvina COTTRILL BENNETT
and 4 children, Fred, Mable, Dell and Martin. A brother of Edward, Charles
L. BENNETT was also living in the household. soundex says "owns
own farm Mgt., of farm schedule 30"? Edward, son of Fransis
and Sarah BENNETT, b. 1863 married twice, (1) Alla Martha COTTRILL
and (2) Gerethy Melvina COTTRILL, which I believe were sisters.
According to mothers notes daughter Delle BENNETT was killed by
fire, She was born Feb. 1896. Anybody with info of this family can contact

in the Confederate, while his second son George was serving in the Union
