I am searching for information on the birth family of my great- grandmother, Elizabeth Susanna SNIDER born on Dec. 22, 1853 in Taylor Co. Her father was Caleb SNIDER . I do not have her mother's name. Elizabeth's husband was the Rev. Sylvanus Marcellus ANNON and he had 3 brothers who were also Dunkard preachers-B.F., G. W. and Zachariah ANNON . Elizabeth died in Clarksburg, WV in 1928. Any help with her mother or siblings' names is appreciated.

My GGGrandfather, James ROGERS served in the Civil War from Taylor County in Company A of the WVA 12th Inf Reg. He is buried in the Simpson, WV Cemetery. He was born ca 1827. I would like to learn more about the WVA 12th., as well as try to identify the parents of James. He was married twice. The first to Rosa McIntyre and she is buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Grafton. His second marriage was to Jane Wycoff. James may have been born in either Fauquier or Louduon County, VA.<

John ROBINSON and Sarah COPLIN were married in Harrison Co. They lived in Taylor Co. several years. Their children were born in Taylor Co. Nancy, Sarah, William, Mary Jane, Ellen, John Bruce, Martha, and Asa . I would like to find out John Robinson's parents and siblings. John Robinson was born in 1813. Sarah Coplin was born 1816.They were married in 1837 in Harrison Co. After leaving Taylor Co. they moved to Jackson Co. WV. Thanks, Juanita Bell

Looking for info on Charles W. KNIPPLE aka as CW Knipple. Worked for B&O RR as fireman. d 1945 b1881 in PA. Had 11 children including my father. CW father's name on SSA is David Schultz Knipple mother's name Mary Manges. Lived on Walnut St at time of death. Would like any info on any person.

Seeking the father of Herod W. Blake. Herod W. BLAKE born Dec 15 1821 Va. married Elizabeth LATHAM in Pruntytown, Taylor Co. WV, Feb 24 1842. She was born Apr 18, 1829 . They were living in Taylor County WV in 1850 & 1860. Living in Barbour County WV in 1880. Where he died before 1910. She died in Junior, Barbour County, Feb 21 1890. grgrGrandfather, Thomas MALE b. 1824 in Harrison Co.Va to George and Margaret Pritchard MALE Sr. Married in Barbour Co., WVA on 11 Apr.1848 to Julianne Newman, dau of Timothy and Elizabeth Kennedy. Thomas and Julianne raised their family in Taylor Co. He was a farmer. Their children were: Geo Sylvester MALE , Ingaby MALE , Timothy MALE , Lewis MALE , and Granville MALE . Julianne d. 1 Jan 1870 in Taylor Co. Thomas remarried to Amanda Dalton on 21 Jan 1871 in Barbour Co. Thomas died about six years later,19 May 1876 in Taylor Co. WVA. It has been said that Thomas was a member of the Dunkard Brethern. I would like to know if there are records in Taylor Co to verify this, and also, would like to know where Thomas and Julianne MALE are buried. All help appreciated greatly. Fred WILLIAMSON b.1879 d.? m.1898 in Doddridge Co. to Savilla LIPSCOMB b.1877 d.? They had a daughter born 10/31/1903 in Tyler Co. Information I have is they moved to Grafton. WV soon thereafter and died and were laid to rest in Taylor Co. Fred is my granddad's (Isaac R.) brother. Any information will be deeply appreciated.

I am trying to locate information regarding my grandfather Harry BOSTOW (BOSTOVA) . The only information that I have is that he came to America from the Ukraine. I don't know the year he came to America except it was sometime prior to WWI. I was able to locate information from Connecticut, but since have lost that. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Am searching information on Homer Bruce DAUGHERTY who married Lilly Mae POE . Homer was 1 of 17 boys and had 1 sister. I know Homer and Lilly had three sons, Kenneth, Wayne and Cecil. Kenneth was married to Ferrena Cathern TRISLER . Kenneth and Ferrena had one son Kenneth Claude DAUGHERTY Jr. Kenneth was a school teacher in Grafton for many years. Ferrena had a brother named John TRISLER , who lived in Grafton. John's wife's name was Mildred. Cecil DAUGHERTY had 2 children that I know of Cecil, Jr. and a daughter, I am unsure of the spelling of the daughters name. Wayne was a minister and his last know whereabouts was in NY. If anyone has any information on any of these families, please contact me.
