I Abraham Lamp being of lawful age
but weak in body having the use of my reason and mind do make
this as my last Will and Testament disposal of property to wit.
First my debts to be paid out of proceeds of my property the
personal property to be left on the my farm and under the
control of my wife for the support of the children to wit Tisha
Jane, Sarah, George, John, Mary and William, my real estate to
be equally divided amongst the heirs above mentioned. Having a
suit in the Circuit Court for debt against Loagn and Keller
which suit has bin decided against me and now ordered to be
carried up to the Court of Appeals a proposition having bin made
by the parties for a comprimise. I do hereby authorize Robert
Allison and Elizabeth Lamp to act as administrations in my will
and to complimise the law-suit above mentioned parties as they
think best as Witnesses. My hand and seal this 30th day of July
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty
two.

Circuit Court of Tyler County, fall Term 1862. This Last Will
and Testament of Abraham Lamp dec'd was presented in Court, and
the execution thereof by the said Abraham Lamp was proven by the
oaths of Thomas D. Gorrell and John Lamp subscribing witnesses
thereto, and the said Will was thereinto ordered to be recorded
as and for the Last Will and Testament of the said Abraham Lamp
deceased.
