Harewood Man Killed in accident at mine.Raymond lewis stover,27 of harewood, fayette county was killed instantly yesterday in an accident at the semet solvay mine. surviving are his wife, mrs. emma stover, one son roger ray, his parents mr.and mrs. james franklin stover of cedar grove three sisters reba of longacre, martha anne of carbondale and rachel of norfolk,va. one broyher roma hobbs of longacre. a son james wyatt deceased.services will be at 2:pm tomorrow in the oakland church of god with rev. r. m. harris officiating. burial will follow in the montgomery memorial park at london under the direction of b.c. hooper mortuary of montgomery. the body will be taken to the residence at 5:pm today. this is from the charleston newspaper.
he was a corporal in the army air force. he was born july 13,1920 in schrewsbery.w.va. he died on feb. 26,1949. His death certificate reads body crushed- run over by mine motor.
