Marion Francis Rookard, 10/04/1899 - 11/05/1992, was my first cousin once removed. He worked in the West Virginia coal mines for most of his life. He and his wife, Mamie Mitchell Rookard, 1905 - 10/10/1995, also lived most of their lives in West Virginia while raising four daughters. Both of them were living in West Virginia when they died. Marion Francis was very knowledgeable about our family history and shared with us all of his information. Our undying gratitude and appreciation goes out to him and his memory.
